The Challenge
When Laura came to us for a red-carpet piece tied to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, she needed serious volume for her design—one which would stand out under red carpet lighting and in photographs.
The Solution
Because the primary fabric was stiff, we suggested a large sunburst pleat at the hem, and layered heavy pleated mesh underneath to support structure and enhance dramatic shape. Laura herself came into the workshop to review samples and ensure the pleat “pucker” matched her vision.
The Outcome
The final effect was breathtaking—luxurious volume that moved with grace and purpose. The design captured attention at the premiere and reinforced both her reputation and ours for delivering sustainable luxury with integrity.
