  • 7cace2_e77b0dca76d245c39a316cdd4bfba827~mv2.avif

    2X1 Pleating

2×1 Pleating is a knife pleat construction that uses a thinner inlay, pleating only half the depth of a traditional repeated fold. This approach delivers the same visual impact on the face of the pleat while creating a smaller fold behind it. Unlike standard pleats that shrink fabric at a 3×1 ratio, 2×1 pleating reduces fabric usage while preserving the intended look.

Accordion Chevron Pleating combines sharp accordion folds with a repeating chevron pattern to create strong visual rhythm and dimensional texture. The structured geometry allows the fabric to move while maintaining a defined, graphic form. This technique is well suited for garments and panels where precision, repetition, and architectural detail are essential.
